SCALDON has extensive experience in the design of fixed and telescopic A-frames, for any kind of application – including load handling at sea (such as plough anchors or buoys), geotechnical surveys or gathering seismic data. The A-frames we provide can be delivered complete with winches including umbilical cords and/or hoisting cables, and with special features such as active heave compensation (AHC) and constant tension (CT), etc. To operate the A-frames, the applicable hydraulic power unit (HPU) can be installed in a container on deck or inboard the vessel.
